Not quite a goat |
Our computer was in the shop -- needed a new hard drive. But now we're back in action. There is much to show and tell, but I'll just start with today. These are photos from this morning.
I went outside to get the diapers off the drying rack but had to go back in to get the camera...

I set the kids up for breakfast - we often eat on the deck but this time I put them facing the neighbor's yard so they could see the deer.

The were very interested and began exclaiming "go, go, go". I couldn't believe it. Yes, a deer does look kind of like a goat!

Eva eventually understood that this was not a goat and began to say "doe, doe". Which was actually quite acurate, I think it is a lady deer.

My uncle has done some excellent wildlife photography in Jasper, so I was thinking of him as I was shooting the photos. This was obviously a city deer since I got right up to the fence and was about ten feet away from her. She was really enjoying our neighbor's apples.

Well the kids are napping and I think I will to.
It's good to be back. I'll try to post more frequently.
Garden update to come.
hope you are well.
