Up and Down
Hello faithful readers.

What a couple of days I've been having. Where to start. Well, first of all this blog has to be quick.

Most of today has been spent discussing Lance's upcoming CD project (recording is scheduled to start on Tuesday). There have been some exciting changes about location and quality of the album, as well as disheartening discoveries about the financial cost -- and the gap between our resources and that cost. We have a lot to think and pray about. Currently it looks like we will be doing fundraising (asking for loans), I will be working for my dad this summer, and perhaps we will be visiting the Royal Bank to see what they can do for us. It has been a big day -- the question was raised whether or not to even do a CD this summer. That was a hard question to ask. Making music is like breathing for Lance - it just comes out of him. What he has to say is so important -- truth. We've now decided that we will make the CD this summer, but this is really a risk in many ways. We are going to be learning more about trusting God with our whole hearts. Please pray for us. Lance is at a rehearsal tonight for the CD, I'm praying that it will be encouraging.

So it's now 4:30ish and I haven't even begun working on my internship director work that I had hoped to finish up today. Yesterday it worked really well to work in hour long chunks. Time goes by faster if you are really focussed and working towards a goal -- you also get a lot more work done that my usual style (flit from this project to that project, have a snack, see what Lance is up to, chat with mom, check email, read the blogs...) So after this blog I will be a super focussed and diligent manual reviser (which is the work I'm needing to finish)

My weekend was wonderful. My whole extended family on my dad's side went to Naramata (near Penticton) and stayed in cabins there. We enjoyed visiting, swimming (Lance pulled me in -- fully clothed -- with the help of my brother Steven and my brother-in-law Andy, while my sister-in-law Caroline tried her best to help), playing baseball (most of us only play once a year), going to the drag races (most of the guys), enjoying pedicures (most of the girls, eating meals together, going for walks, playing with little Sarah. It was great. Lance and I shared a cabin with Andy, Cara and Sarah. It was good to be around them. I enjoy Sarah so much. I like being an auntie.

I'm feeling that it is time to go. Two last things: I have not forgotten about the contest I mentioned earlier, I will get to posting the photo. Also, you can look forward to my next blog where I will share with you the Klassen (my old last name) family freeway adventure (this story includes a freeway, a minivan filled with 7 people, a stuffed teddy bear and a malfunctioning roofrack). The suspense is almost killing you, I know. :)

That's all for now.

I hope you guys are doing well.
Thanks for reading.
