Dress Rehearsal (with random tree pictured)

Last night I got to see most of the dress rehearsal for the tour. It was great. So creative. So many different styles of music and drama and visual art. Of course, again, I recommend that you try to make it!

I was at the school 6 out of 7 days last week. Yikes that was a crazy week. Hopefully this one will be more laid back.

It seems to be a little wintry again here. Emphasis on the "little". We were getting spoiled and acclimatized to plus 8 weather. Now that it's dropped to 5 or so below zero, I'm freezing. Looks like we're heading back to spring soon.

Found some Palm Sunday thoughts through Dewey's Treehouse at Tonia's blog (http://intent.squarespace.com/brush-strokes/)

"meditating on:
how different my expectations and understandings are from God's ultimate plans....there is much room for repentance and submission to God's will on this day."

hmm, hadn't really thought of that before. Like that connection from the Israelites hopes and expectations of crowning Jesus king to our/me hopes/expectations that are often so different from God's bigger/wiser/better plan. Learning to trust.

Just a little post today. Hoping to get the kids down for their naps soonish. They're still out of wack from daylight savings time. Going to bed on time but sleeping in - which seems good - but then not napping at all, or napping late and just for a short time. So this morning we woke Elijah up - Eva was already up. Hoping to get them back on track. After a week like last week I need naps too!

Hoping to make Lovella's Paska recipe for Easter.

Okay better go.
