| Merry Christmas |
Merry Christmas everybody. If yesterday was Christmas Eve, then today is Christmas. Lance and I slept underneath the Christmas tree last night - well not really under it, more in front of it. We have a tradition (Lance especially likes traditions) that on Christmas Eve we sleep under the tree, and instead of pumping up an airmattress to sleep on we get out every single blanket in the house and sleep on top of them. We were laying on our blanket bed last night when I remembered there were two blankets in another room - Lance went and got them and we added them to our bed. It was surprisingly comfortable. This morning we opened our stockings and some of our presents from each other. Lance gave me two toques which I like very much - I'm excited to go out shopping today cause I'll get to wear one of my new toques.
We are quite busy today. Some of our close friends who live in Winnipeg are in town and we're having a party with them and our other friends tonight - but before that we're having Phil, Ingrid and their boys (the winnipeg friends) over for supper.
Tomorrow morning - really early - 4am or so - we are starting our trip out to the coast. Could you please pray for good weather for traveling, alert & wise drivers, calm kids (three kids under 5) and all around safety? Thank-you so much.
I better get to my list of things to do. Clean the kitchen first.
