Small Disaster |
Just as I was waiting for this page to open I ate a spoonful of yogurt and spilt some on the laptop. Not really a big big deal because it wasn't much, but we just got this computer this past spring - a Mac IBook G4 - and it is really special to Lance. I am usually quite careful with it... Anyways, the yogurt only got on the little closure part that keeps the computer closed when we shut it and I think I got it all off - if it starts stinking in a couple days we'll know what the problem is.
Perhaps Melanie is thinking, "If you weren't eating yogurt in the first place, in fact, if you never brought it into your home, this wouldn't have happened". This is true, but I don't share Melanie's view of yogurt - she has referred to it as "the devil's own breakfast food". :)
RE: Guestbook comments
Cara - I thought of the shirt idea too, we sure are sisters eh? I think the shoulder clamps would've covered it, that's what Steve thought anyway.
About my parents - they are really cool. I have always liked them. You all probably would too.
Latest news: I'm in the student choir at CLBI. We meet three times a week for an hour and fifteen minutes. We have been working on a Christmas concert since mid-September. On Friday we have our first performance - a mini-concert at Camrose's Christmas Festival. On the first weekend of December we do our full concert (including monologues, skits, whole-choir songs, small group songs...) three times. We have a lot of work to do - polishing our songs. I enjoy being in choir. I look forward to being able to concentrate more on the words of the songs. Our director picks such good songs with excellent lyrics (for the most part). I'll let you know how it goes.
Maybe that's all for today - I better get thinking about, and then making supper. Pasta maybe? When you have guests you can't really expect them to eat cheese and crackers (like I do).
Have a lovely evening.
