Thanks for the responses on names. Just for the record, I am not fond of the names Ewald and Edna - that was Lance trying to misrepresent me. Ragnar, a suggestion of Katelyn's is a little too scandinavian for me, but would have a nice ring to it, Ragnar Odegard... I think Katelyn wants to win the contest, with all those suggestions she just might win.
Tomorrow we are going to meet Sarah Mae. Lance and I are heading to my uncle's place - 5hrs from here. Cara, Andy and Sarah will meet us there. We are looking forward to it. Lance is sick so he's trying to get better quick. I thought maybe I should get him a mask to wear when he is close to Sarah. We really wouldn't want to get her sick.
I found an old camera at CLBI. Its a medium format camera, which means it takes film that is larger than regular (35mm) film. The film is called 120. The negatives are about three times larger than normal which means the pictures are much crisper. I have film and bought a new battery. I found a manual for the camera on the internet and plan to try it out taking some pictures of Sarah (I'll bring another camera too, just incase this one doesn't work). Photography is something I'm really passionate about so finding this camera (which is now on loan to me) was pretty exciting.
Fall has arrived in Camrose and it is beautiful. Leaves are turning and falling and crispy on the ground (something you don't really get in the fraser valley) The weather has turned surprisingly warm and might get into the 20s they say - t-shirt weather.
Well, I better get going. I want to get a gift ready for Andy, Cara and Sarah.
