| A Sabbatical |
I have been on an unintended blog sabbatical. I think the novelty has worn off somewhat for me. Maybe I will get back into routine now that things have settled down at school.
Lance and I just got back from a week long canoe/hiking trip with the students from CLBI (where we work). It was a great trip -lots of fun, great relationship building and learning. I helped teach a course to the girls about being a Godly woman. We had some great sessions.
Right now we have some friends and students over watching world cup hockey - it's over, but we're (or more acurately they're) watching the taped games that we missed. I'm hockeyed out and it's a double header tonight. I've made cookies, talked on the phone, checked emails, caught up on some blog reading and watched a bit of hockey.
My sister will be having a baby any day. I got to talk to her and my brother-in-law tonight - it was neat to hear Andy talk about the baby. Cara is a week overdue, and is getting anxious to have the babe come out. I am eager to meet the little one too.
Just a little blog today.
