Three Down One to God
So I meant to write, "Three down one to go" but I miss-typed and wrote "One to God" and maybe that is more than just a typo, but a pointer to the truth. I'm the only one left in the house who hasn't puked and I guess I need to trust God that he will take care of me so I can take care of everyone else - well just my family, because of course I am not the stewardess for the whole world!

Anyways after a lot of throwing up last night Elijah ended up with some sleep and this morning is feeling really pretty good. Eva is now sicker than before and is having an early nap - after throwing up her breakfast. Lance had a terrible night I won't go into details. I am still feeling fine and am hopeful about making it through.

Lance called his dad who then brought over ginger ale, applesauce, yogurt and soda crackers. This will be our diet for today.

Bonnie phoned and offered to do a ginger ale run for us, since she was already doing one for her own family. Guess it's going around.

We're holed up in the kitchen today - don't feel like cleaning any more carpets (well Lance was the one doing that yesterday, but he's out of commission today)

Okay better go. Thanks for the comments and prayers.

Oh Aimee, I am so sorry...that is awful. It's terrible when one of the family members is sick...but 3?!?! I'll be praying for a special protection over you and a quick recovery for the rest. =)

Hey Aimee, I guess I will come out of hiding and actually comment on your blog. Even though I do not have kids of my own I can feel you pain, having kids that are sick and you know you can not do anything for them but just be there to comfort them is hard. I leaned that at Camp this past summer when 30 kids got the flu. I realized how fast they can become dehydrated. If they can keep it down the best thing is Pedialyte and bananas, and for lance is sports drinks. They help with the electrolyte balance...I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you guy!!!

I pray that this heavy cloud will soon pass so you are all free to live pukey-free. Amen

It was SO fun to read thru your blogs, then go to your Mom's and see the Christmas pictures, etc, and how your family celebrates!
I'm Judy Abraham's sister, so Cara is my niece-in-law, if that's how you say it!! I'd just say 'niece' because it sounds closer. We hope to be at Camp Tulahead this August and see where they live! God bless you all with health.
