today?
Hi guys, thanks for your comments and prayers once again. Very encouraging.

I thought I'd quickly post some photos for you. First, my flower bed. I took the photos of the petunias (purple), dahlias (peachy/orange) and the nicotiana (looks white but is actually pale lime green), but my gazanias won't bloom for a while, so I found a photo for you online, so the daisy type ones are gazanias and I didn't take that photo.

Here's a photo of our bedroom -- new bedframe and bedding:

And here's the nursery:

The rug and lampshade are new. The fabric on the change table will be transformed into little curtains for the window (right mom?). Hopefully we will acquire a loveseat or big chair to go on the empty wall -- currently there is no where to sit.

There you have it.

I'll keep on keeping you posted.

Have a great day. I think I will.

You must be getting so anxious/excited as each day passes. And then you'll hve your body to yourself again!!! I was wondering if you've thought of getting a glider chair for the nursery. I had one in mine and it was a dream for breastfeeding or calming baby. I loved it. We got ours at Costco and it wasn't very much. I agree with you that a place to sit would be nice....especially with two babes.

I FREAKED OUT this morning becuase someone called us long distance but it was just static on the other end and the number didn't come up on caller id. I was *sure* it was lance calling from the hospital, and then was devastated when the person didn't call back. But I caught him on MSN and he told me it wasn't. Whew. I am thinking of you today my friend - in anticipation and also with a LOT of love!!

that rug is so fun! and the material for the curtains -- artsy, whimsical, detailed. i was surprised how early my kids noticed and were enamoured by details in their rooms. you've done very well making such a vibrant and pleasant place for them. and looks you're all ready to welcome them!

Perhaps a loveseat would be ideal since you could prop yourself up with a million pillows and nurse both babies at the same time. Don't forget a footstool!

You (and your new camera) are taking some beautiful photos. Very professional. I love seeing them.

Aimee I LOVE the rug in the nursery. What a comfortable beautiful vibrant room.

You probably won't read this until after the twins are born, but good luck - I'm praying for you.

    Aimee and Lance,

Congratulations to you both. Aimee, I have been reading your blog since before you were pregnant. I just have not commented before. It's been so fun reading about your joys. May God bless your family (larger now by two). Candace Craig

    Aimee,

Not to rush you, but every time I read your blog and find you haven't posted I growl, grind my teeth, and may or may not kick somthing to show my frustration!

    Okay, so I'm rushing you.

No really, enjoy these precious moments with your new babies (and you may even still be in the hospital - do you stay much longer for multiples?), but we really would like some news.

    Still praying,
    Katelyn
