Winter and Fall and Who are You? Lurkers come forth.

Just a couple photos from park time on our bc trip. don't those grandparents look proud? Mom looks like she's going to burst.

It's winter now. It just arrived today. Last night it began snowing and today it looks like it's here for good. Not tonnes of snow but it is cold. Minus 16. So this is the beginning of a prairie winter with 1 and a half year old twins. Yikes. Housebound (well not quite).

Thought I'd post a few photos of fall weather and cute kids. This was on a lovely Sunday afternoon - probably in October. The kids were crazy about the slide. In one of the photos Elijah is actually crawling up the slide backwards, he made it pretty far.

A bad blogger confession. I've had so many things in my head that I've thought of blogging about and so many pictures to share and have been blogging so infrequently that I don't even know what I've already blogged about. I had to check in my archives that I hadn't already shared these photos. Oh dear.

In other news:

We are all feeling a lot better so that is wonderful.

And sleep! We have been getting it!!! I woke up this morning after another night of not tending to childern for 12 hours and thought, "I can't believe I have already begun to take this forgranted!". It's no guarentee that they'll sleep through (Eva does pretty much every night, Elijah is having a bit more trouble) but there a many nights in a week where I don't have to get up with anyone. Wow. Almost a year and a half of night waking and now rest. ahhh. If only naps were going well. We've hit another rough patch. I am learning that with my new good night's sleep I can function pretty well without naps for myself. So that's good and takes some of the stress out of making sure they nap simultaneously.

And finally, I just want to know, and I have wanted to know for a long time... Who are you? Yes You. You reading this blog right now. I am curious. PLEASE REVEAL YOUR IDENTITY. I know there are more of you out there than I am aware of. Don't be too shy okay? Just comment. Painless really. And incase the French has been keeping you from writing, just click on where it says "0 Commentaires". Yes, that must have been why you've never commented.

Alright, see you later.

Sorry I made a mistake that I couldn't allow others to read on the first one.

You are so good with a camera Aimee. My favorites are Eva with the falling leaves, and the slide one where Elijah is climbing backwards but you can still see Papa grinning at the top. I am bursting with happiness in the top photo :)

    HI Aimee,
YOu know Katelyn & I read your blog, right? - separately ...
I like Eva's hair. I remember that hair. It will thicken ... a hairdresser told me that kids don't get their real hair until they are 7 ... until then it is the fine stuff which is so much fun to put in a barret like Pebbles from the Flintstones.

Yes I am here, checking in. I must admit that the word "Lurkers" from this post's title on my RSS Feed's list is what lured me in.

Beautiful photos, and very seasonal blog template change! I LOVE the more personalized blogs, so neat!!!

Oh and I'm so happy you are getting more sleep now. Good on you! That's what my Doctor prescribed for me too. I must admit though last night was only 3 hours of sleep, oops! Got to get on that...I've been working hard doing commercial Workstation technical support for HP, that's been very busy and early days...I suppose I should get some sleep sooner or later. Anyhow, ttyl gf

    Hey Aimee,
Your comments about sleep made me realize that Sarah has just recently in the past 3 weeks been sleeping through the night on a consistant basis...Although she will often (every other night) roll out of her bed and I'll help her back into it. Our kids are on the same schedule re: sleeping through the night it seems. Haven't visited your blog since I don't know when, nice to be here. I too enjoy the new design. Love you!
