Here they are! |
We had an ultrasound on Monday. Here are two head shots of our little ones.

At my prenatal appointment on Wednesday there were good reports all around. The results from the ultrasound are that the twins are growing well, and are in fact a little on the large size for singleton babies of the same age. Hooray. This is great news.
I've been much more tired lately. Nights are pretty lame - waking up almost every hour. Perhaps I'm being prepared for what is to come.
Today I got blood taken to test iron levels and glucose tolerance (a lovely blessing was that my doctor was flexible regarding the glucose test. I was permitted to do a fasting test instead of a drink the sugar test).
This weekend we have no plans! Hooray.
Well I mostly just wanted to post the photos. I've got more to write but it will have to wait.
Oh, but I must tell you, spring has arrived in Camrose. The snow is gone and the tulips are poking up their heads. The school's courtyard is once again filled with students hanging out and playing whatever sport seems right for the moment. I love looking out my kitchen window and seeing this.
Hope you are well.

They're so cute. And very clear pictures. Sometimes when I see ultrasound pictures, things are fuzzy - but I see what I'm supposed to (I think :D:D)...!!!

Aimee - They are more clear to me in this small size - I can see the little ones even better! Seeing the babes before birth is just an excitement I never experienced with you kids. I like it.

Ultrasound pictures are so exciting! I can see why you'd want to brag about your little "wigglers." Best of luck in the next while!

Aimz, I'm becoming so predictable about my reaction to the wigglers....it's the laugh/cry again. THERE THEY ARE!! Thank you for sharing the pics with us. I love you so much.

awwwe, thank you for sharing!
Did you peek at genders?

Mmmm....Aimee, I was trying to send you an email, but it seems that all my messages come back - I was using the CLBI one...perhaps there is a different one now I should give a try? Love Kortney

Oh my, what a feeling. I almost started crying...laughing - just like Melanie. It must be a much stronger feeling actually HAVING them in your belly. I'm so glad for you - and I'll pray that you get more sleep:)

Hi aim.... lovely U/S.... yeay for knowing and keeping it a secret, the first thing that went through my mind was "I wonder if Aimee could tell us if they're the same sex (more likely to be identical) or if they're two different genders" .... then I thought silly me, if you spill that they're different genders, then we'll know you have one of each :) :) A blonde moment...... .....praise the Lord for healthy little ones, and a healthy mommy.....the important thing over the next little while is that they grow at the same rate.

I miss playing in the courtyard...football, frisbee, hackey-sack...sigh.
